Street trading policy

Residents, businesses, traders and community groups are invited to help shape the future of street trading in Harlow by taking part in a consultation on our updated street trading policy.

Street trading can play an important role in supporting local businesses, increasing choice for customers and helping to create a vibrant town. It is important that trading takes place in a safe and responsible way that protects access to public spaces and considers the needs of residents, businesses and visitors.

The proposed policy updates on areas such as officer delegations, community events and licences for groups of traders.

To help us develop a balanced policy, we want to hear from as many people as possible. Your feedback will help shape how street trading is managed in the future.
